COVID-19: Supporting Moldova Hospitals and Beyond

During the COVID-19 pandemic, understanding the dire conditions in Moldovan hospitals, MAD-Aid, in collaboration with volunteers Ana Racu and Anatol Untură, launched a campaign to support medical teams on the front lines. Our swift actions and dedicated efforts resulted in raising over 200,000 euros in a very short period of time.

Key Achievements of Our COVID-19 Campaign:• Sourcing Essential Equipment: We procured vital medical supplies including oxygen concentrators, protective equipment, tons of soap and disinfectant, ventilators, and other crucial medical equipment to bolster the fight against COVID-19 in Moldova.• Extending Our Reach: Leveraging our logistical expertise, we also imported much-needed gowns and masks for the Isle of Wight hospital and hospice, ensuring they were well-equipped to handle the pandemic.At MAD-Aid, our proactive response during the COVID-19 pandemic underscores our commitment to supporting healthcare systems in times of crisis.
